What does a home inspection include?
Every standard inspection covers ten primary components, from foundation to roof: Structural Integrity, Electrical Systems, Plumbing, HVAC Systems, Roofing, Exterior, Interior, Insulation and Ventilation, Appliances and Fixtures, and Safety Features. A sample report is available on request.
How much does an inspection cost?
For a single-family home, an inspection is $500 up to 2,500 sq ft and $600 for 2,501–3,500 sq ft (3,501 sq ft and above, call for pricing). A townhouse interior inspection is $400 up to 2,500 sq ft and $500 for 2,501–4,000 sq ft. A condo interior inspection is $300 up to 2,500 sq ft and $375 for 2,501–4,000 sq ft. Prices may vary based on distance and location.
Why do townhouse and condo inspections cost less?
Townhouse and condo inspections cover the interior only, so they take less time than a full single-family inspection that also covers the exterior and grounds.
Can I attend my inspection?
Buyers are welcome to attend. It is the best way to see the findings firsthand.
